Note the end of this review has spoilers for people who have not read the second book!! not as good and different from the first. Much less suspenseful than the first. The first part of the book is only flashbacks from the first book. The characters' line of trajectory are completely different.Spoiler alert: if you have read the first book you could probably skip the beginning of this book and head for the last few chapters where you get some questions answered. At the end of this book you still don't know who are what mr jingles is. Out of left field you find out who Chloe's father is. Oddly, in her mid thirties Chloe asks her aunt for the first time who her father is. What they decided to do with her father's identity is wierd. Donnie and Kara go from well to do to poor for some unknown reason. They now live in the bad part of town. Chloe's son has a clown phobia but for some reason befriends jingles. Chloe is such a mess that you wonder why her husband married her. Joey is not in this book!!! Joey is not in this book but you here that he has taken a job as a clown?!

Good read but hated the ending I guess I will have to wait until book 3 to come out to know what is going to happen
Comical, suspenseful, kept me on my toes. A lot of questions were answered in this book, but also left some more unanswered questions.
Very successful sequel, loved it! Hard to put down. I would have read it in one sitting if I could have.
